The Project

Bioferment was founded by a team that had watched the cleaning chemistry category cycle between toxic and greenwashed for three decades — as growers, as facility operators, as regulators, as frustrated buyers.

Every time the industry promised a breakthrough, the label got greener and the molecule stayed the same. The team built Bioferment to stop pretending that was change.

The platform is the answer to a question that should have been answered 40 years ago: what does cleaning chemistry look like if we start over, from food-grade inputs, with fermentation instead of petroleum as the generative process?
